Resilience Session 01 - How can the resilience of aging bridges be improved in the context of climate change?

This session addressed the following two key issues:
1. Creating safer bridges by considering resilience issues also for ageing bridges
2. Approaches for the whole bridge stock

The session presented a wide range of measures for improving resilience for the whole bridge stock. The presentations provided input for the upcoming PIARC report "Road Bridges – Requirements and Evaluation Methods for Structural Redundancy". Therefore, the current status of work of WG3 was also presented.
